I’m intrested in helping others with drug addictions in the CT area. So i wanted to know how to go about getting certified in that field

My parents live in the Hartford area so hello to you in CT. I applaud your interest in this difficult area and there are several ways to approach this and there are many positions available. You may wish to be a receptionist, an aide, a social worker, or a nurse for instance. Without more information about your career goals I may only offer general advice. You may begin by calling the County Medical Society or the County Mental Health Department. You may also call the substance abuse treatment centers in your area. Finally you may wish to go online as there are limited programs which offer internet education related to this field. The very best of luck to you.
