Now a culinary specialist at VVSD, Jim has fought his way out of more than 30 years of substance abuse. Jim epitomizes what VVSD offers and the dedication of our staff.

Perhaps better drug abuse treatment programs, for both those in jails and prisons and West Virginians not yet caught in illegal acts, would help. So might harsher penalties for drug pushers and producers. Somehow, we have to win the war against drugs.
