Ok so I am having some serious mental and emotional problems and it seems like no one is really trying to get me the help that I need. I’m stuck trying to do it all by myself. I’ve been searching the web and calling around trying to find different solutions. I have no job, no car (nor means to drive one) ,and soon I will have no school or financial aid. I’m stressing over this and so much more on a daily basis. What I’ve been trying to do is get into a residential rehab program for young adults. I only want ones in or very close to jackson,MS. The problem is they all specialize in specific problems such as drug addictions and eating disorders. I need one that can help with depression, anxiety, and suicide. I’m not feeling well at all and if the people WHO SAY THEY LOVE ME won’t help then I have to do something for myself. I do know that if something isn’t done soon I’m not gonna make it in this so called life!! I just need to know what to do !!? Any suggestions???

From your question, it seems you have some control issues as well as depression…Why don’t you call the local health department? They should be able to offer local resources if they do not have a counselor themselves for you. You mentioned attending school, so they should have a counselor or department to refer you to locally as well. Your question also sounds like you want someone else to do things for you. Your taking the first step is a good start for yourself. Now take the next step & call someone immediately to help you.

Noone wants to help you? That’s reality, get used to it, however, I can give you a few hints to get yourself going.
1. We all, humans, like to overcomplicate. Don’t think about the depression, it’s something else. It’s not a big deal, throw it out of your mind, you aren’t a psycho, and you don’t have a reason to be. You know who is a psycho? People who have experienced a serious mental trauma, and if you have someone close dead, that’s not such a big trauma, its just sad.
2. Don’t go to psychologists, their main job is to sell you some pills, and even look on Yahoo here, people advertise psychologists 24/7.
3. Life isn’t easy, right? Screw it, there is no giving up without a fight, get yourself together!
4. Noone can help you, only yourself, and be glad, because you are the only one that is 100% honest to yourself. You have to go forward and not think about this mental bull**it stuff.
BTW, depression, from the word de-Pressing, it means you are holding emotions inside. Depression can be fixed instantly, you need a way to let your energy out. If you get to be alone at home, just go ahead and scream as loud as you can (if dont wanna scare neighbours, scream into a pillow). Or get something that you can punch and break really bad. Or listen to really loud agressive music, let it off.
It’s better to be mad and frustrated than sad and depressed, trust me, you atleast become the dominating one. Good luck, get going!
